There’s a fantastic number of allotment, kitchen garden and grow your own bloggers out there. I read as many as I can for inspiration, advice and to find out what everyone is getting up to.
I wrote a version of this article in April of this year. A time when many of us who grow our own fruit and veg are sowing our pumpkin and squash seeds for the season ahead.
There are a number of timely activities on the allotment that I enjoy, but planting out the new season garlic is probably my favourite gardening ritual of the year.
It took me 26 years to ‘find’ gardening, and when I did, it was because it fed my long-time passion for cooking.
